In 2004, a group of enterprising American craft brewers discovered the Trumer Brauerei in Salzburg, Austria. Instead of shipping Trumer Pils from Austria to the United States, those brewers built a sister brewery in Berkeley, California. Brewing in Berkeley allows beer drinkers in the United States to enjoy Trumer Pils the way it was meant to be: fresh! The Trumer Berkeley team is committed to upholding the original Trumer Pils Recipe by using the same hops, malt, and proprietary yeast as its sister brewery in Salzburg. Over the past 19 years, Trumer Berkeley has won 18 gold medals in the world’s most prestigious beer competitions positioning it truly as the most awarded pilsner in the world.
